Visitor Information
Blackwell is famous for its convivial and friendly atmosphere, and we are extremely proud of our course and club. As such, we enjoy welcoming visitors, small groups or larger societies during weekdays and Sundays subject to prior arrangement.
Our prime location to the south-west of Birmingham makes Blackwell the perfect location for society golf and is accessible from all parts of the country. A short 10 minute drive from Junction 1 of the M42 and Junction 4 of the M5, and only thirty minutes from Birmingham airport by car, we encourage people to enquire and visit us.
As a small and private golf club, we enjoy hosting visitors to experience the finest of what Blackwell has to offer in an intimate and relaxing atmosphere.
Lunch at Blackwell before or after your round is the perfect complement to a day spent with us alongside a glass of wine from our famous cellar. Please feel free to discuss this whilst arranging your visit, and our team will endeavour to cater to your bespoke requirements.
On arrival, please present yourself to the club professional who will welcome you and give you all of the relevant information for your day ahead.
As a small and private golf club, we place an emphasis on a number of traditions including the importance of swift pace of play, and ensuring members and visitors alike are appropriately dressed. During summer months, tailored shorts can be worn with long knee-length socks, and a collar and tie is required at all times for men in the dining room.
